Community Clothes Closet is actively seeking new board members to help fulfill its mission of providing free clothing to all people in need.

• Actively support and advocate for Community Clothes Closet’s mission.
• Regularly attend board meetings (held the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 4:30pm to 6:00pm).
• Term is three years with option to continue for a second 3-year term.
• Participate in strategic planning and goal setting.
• Participate in committee work as assigned.
• Volunteer for and complete tasks thoroughly and on time.
• Stay informed about committee matters, prepare well for meetings, and review and comment on minutes and reports.
• Get to know other committee members and build a friendly working relationship that contributes to consensus.
• Make an annual financial gift to the organization.
• Participate in fundraising for the organization.
• Cultivate sources of support and ask for financial contributions.
• Volunteer, at a minimum, once per year for a mission related special client event and during a regular “shopping day” to better understand our mission and operations.
• Work closely with the Executive Director and other staff as agreed to by the Executive Director.
