    First 5 Fox Valley is not a new organization, but one that is more than a decade old with a new perspective. First 5 has reorganized as a collaborative network of partners focused on systems change. With Help Me Grow – Fox Valley, we are leveraging our impact on a larger more sustainable scale for the important work of cultivating a community that empowers and supports every family in building a solid foundation for young children. Launching Help Me Grow Fox Valley in 2021, First 5 is the Wisconsin affiliate of Help Me Grow National Center. Originally known as the Fox Valley Early Childhood Coalition, our organization was previously focused on programs and projects setting the stage for today’s systems-level work. Our community-based group serves the counties of Outagamie, Calumet and Winnebago, and was founded with the support of Child Care Resource and Referral and other community partners.

  • What We Do

    First Five Fox Valley seeks to build community partnerships for large scale collaborative and sustainable ventures- and the statewide expansion of the Help Me Grow project is the next step in creating community hubs for linking early childhood resources; and expanding developmental screening and assessment. The Developmental Screening Expansion project improves outcomes for young children by increasing the number of children that receive developmental screenings and creating access for families connected to resources and care through the Help Me Grow Centralized Access Point.

In Wisconsin, First 5 Fox Valley raises awareness and builds community partnerships that advocate for policies and supports families to build a solid foundation for children in their first five years. First 5 Fox Valley connects families to developmental services and helps them find the resources needed to help young children ages 0-5 reach their full potential, now and in the future.

The mission of First 5 Fox Valley is to cultivate a community that empowers and supports every family to build a solid foundation for children in their first five years. First 5 Fox Valley’s vision is that all children in the Fox Valley tri-county region of Calumet, Outagamie and Winnebago Counties in Wisconsin, are safe, healthy and able to reach their full potential. The purpose of First 5 Fox Valley is to support and strengthen early childhood efforts in the region, state and local communities. With our collaborative partnerships we work within our community to lay a foundation for generations to come.
