Who We Are
We connect mind and spirit so individuals, families, organizations and communities thrive. Samaritan provides high-quality, professional mental health care counseling that integrates mind, body and spirit. The center serves women, men and children regardless of faith background or ability to pay. With support from generous donors, regional congregations, corporations and foundations, we offer hope and healing to all who need it: the low-income, underinsured/uninsured working poor; those with all the means in the world; individuals from a breadth of spiritual backgrounds; and those with no spiritual inclination at all.What We Do
We connect mind and spirit through: COUNSELING We provide counseling for all, including low-income individuals who otherwise couldn’t afford it. CONNECTED COMMUNITY WELLNESS SCREEN Wellness Screen provides free, voluntary, confidential mental health check-ups to youth right at school in some 10 regional school systems. MENTAL HEALTH MINISTRY INITIATIVE The collaboration with NAMI Fox Valley equips faith leaders to minister to mental health in their members and beyond. QPR (QUESTION, PERSUADE, REFER) This partnership with Prevent Suicide Fox Cities trains everyday people to intervene when someone feels hopeless.
