The FCLA Governing Board member responsibilities….

*Meeting attendance – attend one monthly hour-long meeting (no meeting in July)
*Mission support – belief and support of the FCLA mission in the community; periodic re-evaluation of the mission and goals of FCLA
*Governance – establish and support policies (including corporate, legal, educational, personnel and financial) necessary for the continued health and well-being of FCLA
*Sustainability – support and participate in occasional fundraising efforts/events for FCLA; identify, introduce and meet with potential donors related to FCLA activities
*Other Support – attend board orientation meeting; increase familiarity with FCLA by visiting classes, attending FCLA activities, reviewing material, attending conferences or communicating with staff; participate in the 10 monthly board meetings plus one annual retreat
