  • Who We Are

The Fox Valley Humane Association is a full-service, state-of-the-art animal shelter and resource center, serving thousands of people and their pets each year. FVHA works 24/7 to see that no animal need in the Fox Valley goes unmet. FVHA cares for nearly 5,000 animals each year. In 2011, we placed 100 percent of our adoptable dogs in homes for the eighth year in a row; 99% of our adoptable cats went to homes. We provide contracted animal control services for more than 30 area municipalities, providing 24/7 assistance to law enforcement for stray, neglected, abused and injured animals. FVHA does not receive any county, state or federal funding, United Way money, or support from national humane organizations. We are a locally-based charitable organization that raises its entire budget through donations, fundraisers, corporate support, adoption fees, and contractual agreements.
