    At the Atlas Science Center, we offer fun, hands-on exploration and discovery of all things paper – the art, history, science and technology. We have interactive and engaging educational programs, exhibits, and activities. Every visitor has an opportunity to experience the process of making paper by hand in our paper lab. We educate over 6,000 schoolchildren each year through curriculum enhancing field trips, which explore the world of paper with STEM learning activities.

    The Atlas Science Center is a science and technology learning center operated by the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame (PIIHF) within the historic Atlas Mill building along the Fox River in Appleton, WI Our Mission is to “INSPIRING ALL GENERATIONS - through motivating learning, experiencing technology, celebrating innovators and promoting cultural heritage.

Company Description

Our mission to motivate the community to experience the world through scientific exploration directs everything we do at the Atlas Science Center. Our Board is looking for a new Treasurer and other members who are passionate about helping young people engage in STEAM (the A is for Arts) topics.
